Saint John of God Association is the service side of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God, which owes its origins to a 16th century layman John Ciudad.

The Hospitaller Order and its services are a worldwide Catholic health and social care organisation. Our Constitutions state: “The Hospitality we have professed means that we must defend and keep watch over the rights of the individual to be born, to live in a decent manner, to be helped in sickness, and to die with dignity. Our chief concern is the sick or needy person” – Article 23.

Thanks to the commitment of co-workers and Brothers the services delivered are underpinned by our five core values of Hospitality, Compassion, Respect, Justice and Excellence which are an expression of our Catholic ethos.
